JC Davis is a freshman at Grantsville High School and a member of the Grantsville FFA Chapter. This past week he was busy showing his Simmental cattle at the Utah State Fair. JC?s senior heifer and junior heifer both received a grand champion in each of their classes.

The Tooele Valley Kiwanis Club installed new officers at their annual banquet Tuesday evening at Tracks Brewery. Outgoing president John Brown turned his gavel over to Debbie Winn, executive director of the Tooele County Chamber of Commerce, who will serve as president of the club for the next year.
